But if you are, we’ve got a few new improvements to make checking-in and finding your beer easy.īrewery booths at the festival will be outfitted with QR Codes with the brewery’s name on it. Add new groups, manage members, and rename all from your profile. Tap the Profile tab, tap the friends icon, and you’ll see Groups listed at the top. We’ve now added the ability to manage these groups in Friends.
Groups have been a feature of the Activity tab for a while, but managing friends in those groups meant having to open the Activity tab and navigating to find it. These work the same way Flavor Profile tags work: Tap a friend’s name to tag them in your check-in tap the friend’s name again to remove them. Tag recent friends on check-in more quicklyīuilding on the changes from 3.4.3 to Recently Tagged and Nearby Friends, we’ve added those Recently Tagged Friends to the main Check-in screen. We’ve also made the default scanning option the barcode scanner to speed up this process. You can also tap “Scan a Nametag” on your own nametag to use the scanner. If you want to scan a nametag, you can use the same scanner you’ve always used on the Discover tab. This will display your nametag so others can scan it and send you friend requests. You can access your personal nametag by tapping the QR Code icon on the top of the Discover tab or the blue QR Code icon on your avatar on the Profile tab. Nametags are a quick way to scan and quickly send friend requests without searching or guessing which friend is the one you want. Adding new friends at the pub or at a festival should be a quick process.
